Need for Speed Carbon is a racing game, developed by Electronic Arts with all-out car action in which you will have to beat other racers in order to conquer their neighborhoods. This title immerses the player into the illegal world of street races, just driving for your liberty against police and other enemies. New cars and an improved gameplay will make you to discover the underground world.

This new version incorporates some new interesting elements and keeps some of the most popular characteristics from the previous title, NFS Most Wanted. The open world remains, being expanded this time with areas such as San Juan that includes more variety to Palmont City. The diversity is granted not only because of its cars but also because of its stages. Their design grants perilous tracks where your skills will be tested in adrenaline-filled races risking your vehicles in different territories like canyons or city routes. It has also a multiplayer mode which stands out thanks to the online mode.

The visual aspect of Need for Speed Carbon is good and it has several elements in screen. The blur effect during the nitro boost increases the speed feeling for the racers, in a very arcade game way. The light effects on the cars are not very realistic, since they are too shiny for night races. Despite this detail, the graphics are rather good and are updated for taking advantage of high performance GPUs.
